Specifications:
- Remove any oil or lubricant from the taper of the extension and the inner taper of the core bit.
- First, insert the pilot drill into the drive extension.
- Then, insert the drive extension into the core bit.
- Begin drilling the hole until the core bit is 3/8” deep.
- Use the ejector key to effortlessly push out the pilot drill.
- Continue drilling until the material being drilled fills the core bit interior, typically around 3” deep.
- If needed, break the drilled material inside the core bit with a chisel.
- Repeat the process until your desired hole depth is reached.

Important Note: To prevent excessive pressure on the taper shank system, it is crucial to drill with a pilot drill bit. Failure to do so may lead to breakage at the tapered end of the extension, especially between the two slots. Please be aware that such breaks are not considered defective and may not be covered under warranty.
