SDS-Plus
ITM SDS-Plus bits and accessories for rotary hammers: drill bits, rebar cutters, chisels, and anchor and concrete screw bits. 5/32" to 1-1/2" bits, many sold in 25-packs.
Choosing SDS-Plus tooling
SDS-Plus is the common shank for lighter rotary hammers, and it is the workhorse for anchors, conduit supports and fixture holes in concrete and masonry. The range is all ITM and splits into four sub-collections: drill bits, rebar cutters, chisels, and anchor and concrete screw bits. Many of the drill bits are tagged for electricians and shower door installers.
Sizes and packs
The most common bit diameters are 3/16" and 1/4", with 3/8", 1/2" and 7/32" also in the range. Lengths run from 4-1/4" to 24". Many sizes come in 25-packs or tubes of 25 because crews go through them.
Use hammer action for concrete and masonry. Switch to hammer-only for chisels. Keep the bit straight and let the hammer do the work, and back out to clear dust in deeper holes.

Common questions
Do SDS-Plus bits need a rotary hammer?
Yes. SDS-Plus bits are made for SDS-Plus rotary hammers, which is how the bit cuts concrete. They do not fit a standard three-jaw chuck.
Are SDS-Plus bits sold in packs?
Many are. Look for titles marked 25/Tube or 25 pack. Other sizes and lengths are sold singly. The product page shows the quantity.
What is a stop drill bit?
A bit with a stop lip that limits how deep it drills. The range includes SDS-Plus stop drill bits sized for drop-in anchors, sold under the anchor and concrete screw bits collection.
