Square Drive Sockets
ITM magnetic hex sockets in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" square drive, with hex sizes from 3/16" to 1/2". Titles give the hex size first, then the drive size.
Choosing a magnetic hex socket
These ITM sockets hold hex-head fasteners. Each title gives the hex size first and the square drive size second, so "5/16" Hex, 1/4" Drive" fits a 5/16" hex fastener and a 1/4" drive tool. The range covers hex sizes from 3/16" to 1/2" on 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives. They are magnetic, so the fastener stays in the socket while you position it.
Choosing and using
Match the hex size to the fastener and the drive size to your tool. If the fastener is recessed, add an extension in the same drive size. Seat the socket fully before turning, and keep it square to the fastener so it does not cam off the head.
