Diamond Mills for Tile
ITM diamond milling cutters for enlarging and shaping holes in tile. Eight sizes from 1/4" to 3", all on a 5/8"-11 thread.
Choosing a diamond mill
A diamond milling cutter removes tile sideways, so you can enlarge a hole, open a slot or notch, or shape a cut around a pipe or fitting. A core drill makes a round hole. A mill lets you go beyond round. All eight of these ITM cutters are on a 5/8"-11 thread.
Sizes are 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 2" and 3". The smaller cutters suit slots and small corrections. The 2" and 3" sizes remove more tile in one pass.
Drilling tips
Start with a hole from a diamond core drill, then mill out to the shape you need. Use water, take light passes rather than one heavy cut, and keep the cutter moving so it does not groove the tile. Run in rotation only and let the diamond do the work.

Common questions
What is the difference between a diamond mill and a core drill?
A core drill cuts a round hole. A milling cutter removes material sideways, so you can enlarge a hole, cut a slot or shape an opening. Many jobs use both: core drill first, then mill.
Which sizes are available?
Eight sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 2" and 3". All are on a 5/8"-11 thread.
Do I run them wet?
Water keeps the diamond cool and cuts dust, which helps it last. Use light passes with rotation only. Check the product page if you need to work dry.
