This collection pairs ITM's two square drive products: magnetic hex sockets and socket extensions. Both come in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive. Sockets cover hex sizes from 3/16" to 1/2", and extensions run from 1" up to 8".
Putting a set together
Start with the hex size of your fastener and the drive size of your tool. Choose a socket that matches both. If the fastener is recessed, add an extension in the same drive size, and use the shortest one that reaches, because a long extension flexes.
Seat the socket fully before you turn it and keep everything in line with the fastener. The sockets are magnetic, which helps hold the fastener while you start it.
