Core Drills Carbide
ITM carbide hammer core drills for brick, block and concrete, from 1-1/2" to 8", plus pilot drills, SDS-Max tapered extensions and an ejector key. Twelve items for hammer drills and rotary hammers.
Choosing a carbide core drill
Carbide core drills cut clean round holes through brick, block and concrete, for conduit, pipe sleeves and vents. These are hammer-style bits, made for a hammer drill or rotary hammer, and the range includes two SDS-Max core bits. Core drill sizes include 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3", 3-1/2", 4", 5" and 8". Accessories fill out the rest: 3/8" and 7/16" pilot drills, 8" and 18" SDS-Max tapered extensions and an ejector key.
Drilling tips
Use hammer mode, start with the pilot drill and let the drill do the work without leaning hard. Pull the bit out now and then to clear dust and keep it cool. Use an extension when the wall is thicker than the bit is long. For dense concrete or a bigger hole, look at the diamond concrete core drills.
