Rebar Cutters
Rebar cutters and punchers drill through reinforcing bar buried in concrete without stopping. 64 ITM tools in SDS-Plus, SDS-Max and straight shank, 3/8" to 2-1/2", for concrete and construction crews.
Choosing a rebar cutter
When a core or anchor hole hits rebar, a standard masonry bit stops. A rebar cutter keeps going and cuts through the bar so the hole can be finished. This range is 64 ITM rebar cutters and punchers, sizes from 3/8" up to 2-1/2".
The range splits by shank. SDS-Plus is the biggest group at 29, then SDS-Max at 18, then 17 straight shank cutters. Lengths seen across the range include 8", 12", 18" and 21".
Drilling tips
SDS shanks are made for rotary hammers, so match the shank to your tool first and size the cutter to the hole you need. Let the tool do the work with steady, moderate pressure; leaning hard on the drill overheats the tip and slows the cut. Withdraw the bit now and then to clear dust from the hole.

Common questions
What is the difference between a rebar cutter and a puncher?
Both are made to get through reinforcing bar. The range lists them as rebar cutters and rebar punchers, in SDS-Plus, SDS-Max and straight shank styles. The product title tells you which you are buying.
Which shank do I need?
The one that fits your drill. SDS-Plus and SDS-Max are for their matching rotary hammers, and the straight shank cutters are for drills with a chuck that holds them.
What sizes and lengths are there?
Diameters run from 3/8" up to 2-1/2". Lengths include 8", 12", 18" and 21", depending on the style. Use the filters to narrow by shank and size.
