Impact-rated magnetic nut setters are made to take the repeated hammering of an impact driver. The magnet holds a hex-head screw or nut on the tip so you can drive it with one hand, overhead or in a tight spot. They are also tagged for Electricians.
The range has 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 9/16" sizes, in lengths of 1-3/4", 2-9/16", 4" and 6". Match the socket to the fastener, and pick a short length for clear access or a long one for recessed work.
Drilling tips
Seat the setter fully on the fastener before pulling the trigger. Start slowly, then let the impact driver work, and keep the tool in line with the screw so the setter does not wobble or round the head. Change to a standard nut setter only when you are using a plain drill/driver.
