Core Drills Diamond – Concrete
ITM large diamond rotary core drills for concrete, 16 sizes from 1" to 12" in diameter, each 15-3/4" long. Made for crews cutting big, clean holes.
Choosing a concrete core drill
Large diamond core drills cut round holes through concrete for drains, vents, ducts, conduit and sleeves. The range is ITM, 16 sizes: 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/2", 2-3/4", 3", 4", 4-1/2", 5", 6", 6-1/2", 8", 10" and 12". Every bit is listed at 15-3/4" long.
Drilling tips
These are rotary bits. Run them in rotation only, with no hammer action, which damages diamond. Keep water flowing to cool the bit and flush out slurry. Larger diameters need a slower speed, so match the rpm to the bit size and use a drill or rig built for core work. Use steady, moderate pressure and let the diamond do the cutting. For brick and block, or hammer-drill jobs, the carbide hammer core drills are the better match.

Common questions
Do I use water with a diamond concrete core drill?
Yes, use water to cool the bit and clear slurry. It keeps the diamond working and extends bit life.
Can I use hammer mode?
No. These are rotary diamond core drills, made to run in rotation. Hammer action damages them. Use the carbide hammer core drills if you want to use a hammer drill.
What sizes and lengths are available?
Sixteen diameters from 1" to 12", and every one is listed as 15-3/4" long. Bigger bits run slower, so match your drill or rig to the size.
