SDS-Plus Drill Bits
ITM SDS-Plus drill bits for concrete and masonry: 5/32" to 1-1/4" in lengths from 4-1/4" to 24", including X-Cutter and 2-Cutter bits, with 25-packs for installers.
Choosing an SDS-Plus drill bit
SDS-Plus bits are what electricians and shower door installers use to drill anchor holes in concrete and masonry with a rotary hammer. The range is all ITM, from 5/32" to 1-1/4" in diameter. The most common sizes are 3/16" and 1/4", followed by 3/8" and 1/2". Many are tagged for electricians and shower door work.
Sizes and packs
Lengths in the titles run from 4-1/4" and 6-1/4" up to 14", 20" and 24". X-Cutter and 2-Cutter styles are in the range, and many sizes come as 25/Tube or 25 pack, so a crew can reorder by the box.
Use an SDS-Plus rotary hammer with hammer action on. Hold the bit straight, let the hammer do the work and pull the bit out of deeper holes to clear dust. Choose a length that clears the anchor depth, plus a bit extra. If it stops cutting, you may have hit rebar, so see SDS-Plus rebar cutters.

Common questions
Will these fit a regular drill?
No. SDS-Plus bits fit an SDS-Plus rotary hammer. The hammer action is what drills concrete and masonry.
What is the difference between a plain bit, X-Cutter and 2-Cutter?
They are different tip styles. Each title names the style, and you will find plain, X-Cutter and 2-Cutter bits in the range. Match the style listed on the product page to your material and job.
Can I buy one bit instead of a box of 25?
Yes for many sizes. Titles marked 25/Tube or 25 pack are packs for crews that go through bits quickly, and other sizes and lengths are sold singly. Check the quantity on the product page.
