Drill bit sets and kits from ITM, Triumph and Tru-Cut: HSS fractional, number and letter sets, carbide-tip sets for masonry and hard steel, glass and tile sets, and hole saw and drill-tap kits.
Choosing a drill bit set
A set keeps the common sizes in one case so a crew does not stop work for a missing bit. The range covers ITM, Triumph and Tru-Cut: 115-piece high-speed steel sets, 29-piece ThunderBit+ sets with 3-flat shanks, 5-piece carbide-tip sets, 4-piece glass and tile sets, an electrician's hole saw kit and an 8-piece 3 in 1 drill tap kit.
Picking the right set
The 115-piece HSS sets cover 1/16" to 1/2" by 64ths, plus #1 to #60 and A to Z, in bright or black oxide. For masonry, the 5-piece multi-purpose carbide-tip set runs 1/8" to 3/8". Hard steel sets come in right-hand and left-hand versions.
Match the drive to the bit. Glass and tile sets are rotation only. Multi-purpose carbide bits run in rotation on tile and can take hammer in masonry. Metal bits want a steady feed and cutting oil. For glass sets, see Quad Spear glass bits.

Common questions
Which drill bit set covers the most sizes?
The 115-piece HSS sets. They run 1/16" to 1/2" by 64ths, plus number sizes #1 to #60 and letter sizes A to Z, in bright or black oxide finish.
Can I use the glass and tile sets in a hammer drill?
No. Glass bits are rotation only. Hammer action cracks glass and tile and damages the tip. Use a standard drill, or a rotary hammer switched to drill-only mode.
Are the carbide-tip sets right-hand only?
No. The 5-piece hard steel carbide-tip sets come in a right-hand set and a left-hand set, both 1/8" to 3/8". The multi-purpose set is a separate 5-piece masonry set in the same size range.
