1/2" x 1" SF-5 Round Nose Tree Carbide Burr, Double Cut, 6" Long

The same 01V double cut heads on a 6" shank, for work you cannot otherwise reach — deep cavities, the inside of tube and vessel, down inside a weld prep, anywhere the grinder body would hit the job before the burr did. The long shank is the whole point and it is also the thing to respect: a 6" burr flexes, so Walter halves the speed rating and sets a hard floor. Never run a 6" carbide burr below 20,000 RPM, and keep the feed light and steady — let the flutes cut rather than pushing the shank into a bow. This is the SF-5: a 1/2" round nose tree head with a 1" length of cut on a 1/4" shank, on the 6" long series shank. Narrow contour work.
