Choosing SDS-Max tooling

SDS-Max is the shank for big rotary hammers: large holes in concrete, heavy chipping and demolition. This range is 121 ITM items, most with an SDS-Max shank, sized from 1/2" up to 5".

Drill bits are the biggest group at 56, including Concrete Tunnel Drills and X-Cutter bits. Then come 24 chisels, 18 rebar cutters and punchers, 15 core bits and 8 extensions and adaptors. There are two carbide hammer core drills on a spline shank as well.

Using SDS-Max tools

Use an SDS-Max rotary hammer, let the hammer do the work and keep the bit straight. Chisels run in the tool's chisel mode. Drill bits need dust cleared from the hole now and then. Use an extension when you need more depth rather than forcing a short bit.
