Automotive: Paint Booth & Shop Cleanup
Degreasers and cleaners for prepping and cleaning up, and Allegro supplied-air respirators and accessories for the paint booth.
Prep, booth and cleanup
The last steps before paint are cleaning the metal and protecting the painter. This step holds the cleaners for the first and the supplied-air respirators for the second.
- Walter cleaners and degreasers: UNO S and UNO SF industrial degreasers, SC 400 for adhesives, sealants and paint, PRO CLEAN, CB 100 and POWER CLEANER 100, in 500 mL sprayers up to 20 L.
- Allegro supplied-air respirator systems with half masks, full masks and hoods, and accessories such as air coolers, flow control valves and lens covers.
Clean first, then paint
Wipe off oils and contaminants before sanding so they are not worked into the metal, and follow each product's label and safety data sheet. Respirator selection, fit testing, air quality and use follow the maker's instructions and your written respiratory protection program. Paint supplier and paint-booth rules apply.
Free shipping on orders over $200. Trade accounts can reorder in a click from My Toolbox, or call (833) 438-6657.
Common questions
Which cleaner removes sealant and adhesive residue?
Walter SC 400 is made to remove adhesives, glues, sealants, rubber residue, tar, paint and ink, and PRO CLEAN handles many of the same contaminants. Read the label for the surfaces each is meant for.
Who decides which respirator I need?
Your written respiratory protection program, set by your employer, and the respirator maker's instructions. We supply the equipment but do not recommend which respirator suits a job.
