Choosing a RAZOR glass drill
RAZOR is ITM's glass drill. The range runs 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". The 1/8" and 3/16" bits are 3" long and the larger sizes are 4" long. The 3/16" x 3" and 1/4" x 4" sizes also come in 25-packs, which suits crews drilling hinge, clamp and bracket holes all week.
Drilling tips
Rotation only. Hammer action cracks glass. Run at low to medium speed with light, steady pressure and keep the tip wet with water so it stays cool. Support the glass flat on a pad, and back off the pressure as the bit breaks through so the far side does not chip.
Holes have to go in before glass is tempered, because tempered glass shatters if you drill it. Need the rest of the kit? See everything for shower door installs.

Common questions
Hammer drill or rotation only?
Rotation only. Hammer action cracks glass and chips the tip. A standard drill, or a rotary hammer in drill-only mode, is correct.
Does RAZOR come in packs of 25?
Yes. The 3/16" x 3" and 1/4" x 4" sizes are available as single bits and as 25-packs. The other sizes are listed as single bits.
Can I drill tempered glass?
No. Tempered glass shatters when it is drilled, so holes must be made before tempering. These bits are for glass that has not been tempered.
