SDS-Plus Chisels
ITM SDS-Plus chisels for lighter rotary hammers: flat, scaling, gouge and tile chisels, a bull point, MINI floor scrapers and a ground rod driver, for demolition and surface prep.
Choosing an SDS-Plus chisel
SDS-Plus chisels are for smaller demolition and surface jobs: chipping tile, cleaning up a slab, trimming a chase, or driving a ground rod. The range is ITM and includes flat, scaling and gouge chisels, a 3" tile chisel, a 10" bull point, MINI floor scrapers with replacement blades and a ground rod driver. Flat chisels run from a 5-1/2" MINI to 18".
Using them
Switch the rotary hammer to chisel or hammer-only mode so the tool does not spin in the chuck. Hold a steady angle, let the hammer do the work and do not pry. Tile chisels and scrapers go in at a shallow angle and work along the joint.
For heavier jobs, see SDS-Max chisels.

Common questions
Can I use an SDS-Plus chisel in a hammer drill?
Only in an SDS-Plus rotary hammer. The chisel needs a hammer-only or chisel setting so it does not spin. A standard chuck will not hold it.
Do you sell replacement blades for the floor scraper?
Yes. The MINI Floor Scraper Replacement Blade is listed in this collection next to the 4" x 10" MINI floor scraper.
Is there a ground rod driver?
Yes. A 5/8" x 10" SDS-Plus ground rod driver is listed for driving ground rods with a rotary hammer. The SDS-Max chisel collection has a 7/8" x 10-1/4" version.
