Choosing a 14" cut-off blade

This collection holds four ITM 14" segmented diamond blades made for cut-off saws. They differ by grade rather than size: General Use, Multi-Material, Heavy Duty and Demo Rescue. Three of the four are laser welded, and all are listed for wet or dry cutting.

Picking a grade

Choose by what you cut most. General Use is the everyday blade. Multi-Material suits crews that hop between material types. Heavy Duty is for demanding daily cutting, and Demo Rescue is the one named for demolition work, where the material is unknown.

Confirm the arbor size and maximum speed on your saw match the blade before mounting. Keep the guard on, let the segments cut without forcing the saw, and use water where you can to hold down heat and dust. The same four blades also appear under walk-behind saws.

Common questions

Which of the four should I buy?

General Use covers everyday cutting. Multi-Material is for mixed jobs, Heavy Duty for hard daily use, and Demo Rescue for demolition. If you cut one material all day, match the grade to it.

Can I cut wet or dry?

Yes. All four are listed for wet or dry cutting. Water cools the blade and suppresses dust, so use it when the saw and site allow.

What does laser welded mean?

The diamond segments are welded to the steel core with a laser rather than soldered. Three of these four blades are laser welded; the product page shows which.
