Where the work is

A unibody, step by step

Almost every car on the road is a unibody: the body and the frame are one welded shell. That is why collision repair means cutting welded panels out, grinding the seams, welding new ones in and protecting the metal after. Follow the numbers around the car, then shop the step.

Shop by job step

One repair, eight steps, one account

We split a collision repair into the eight steps where techs burn through drills, points, discs and taps. Each step below is a collection you can filter by size, shank and brand, with an in-stock filter on every grid.

Drill size by rivet and thread

Pop rivets and metric threads set most of the hole sizes in a body shop. These are the pairings techs look up all day. Screenshot it for the bench.

Public fleet or school program?

Built for how shops buy

One account. Every shop. Standing orders.

  1. Open a shop account

Sign in with your work email. Known companies are approved on the spot; terms orders post to one Net 30 statement in My Toolbox.

  2. Add your foremen and your shops

Shop foremen, estimators and technicians order against the company account, and accounting gets the statement. Running several locations? Add each one as a branch under one head office: its own ship-to book, team and account, and anyone at the head office can act for a branch. Put the job or repair order number on the order and it prints on the packing slip.

  3. Set the standing order

Pick the discs, points, drills and taps the shop burns every week and we ship them on your schedule. Change or pause it any time.

Questions shops ask

Before you open an account

Do you sell to body shops, or only to large contractors?

Body shops, collision centers and fleet garages, from a single bay to a group of locations. Sign in with your work email: known companies are approved on the spot, and new ones are reviewed by a person.

Do you carry spot-weld cutters?

Not as a separate line right now. The Panel & Spot-Weld Removal step carries the mechanics-length and stubby drills in the sizes crews use to drill out spot welds, plus die-grinder cut-off wheels.

Are your metric taps made in the USA?

Triumph hand taps, inch and metric, are made in the United States. Every product page shows its country of origin, and you can filter any step by Made in.

Can a school collision program or a public fleet buy on a purchase card?

Yes. We accept the purchase card at checkout, set up tax-exempt accounts, and invoice purchase orders on Net 30. The Government and education page has the details and the account form.

We run several shops. Can that be one account?

Yes. In My Toolbox, under Company, you can add branches and locations, set up a head office, or ask to be linked under a parent company that already buys from us. Each branch keeps its own address book, team and account, and anyone at the head office can act for a branch to order, track and pay. The accounting records follow automatically, so nothing gets retyped on our side.

Do you sell supplied-air respirators?

Yes. The Paint Booth & Shop Cleanup step carries Allegro supplied-air systems and hoods, made in the USA. Each product page lists what comes with it.
