Demo and heavy-duty blades
Demolition blades are built for the ugly jobs, where the cut runs through wood, nails and whatever else is in the wall. This collection is 18 ITM blades, all with a 1/2" universal shank.
The Demolition Recips are 6T and 10T in 6", 9" and 12" lengths, sold in 3 packs and 25 packs. The HD Recips are 10/14T variable pitch blades, 3/4" wide and .050" thick, in 8" and 12" lengths, sold in 5 and 50 packs.
Cutting tips
Coarse teeth clear chips quickly, so let the blade run and avoid forcing it. A variable pitch blade starts more smoothly and handles a mix of thicknesses. Pick the shortest blade that reaches, since a long blade flexes more. For clean metal-only cuts, use the metal blades instead.

Common questions
What is a demolition blade for?
Cutting through mixed material where you do not know what is in the wall: wood, nails, and similar. Coarse teeth clear chips quickly and the heavy-duty styles are made for rough use.
What do variable pitch and 10/14T mean?
The tooth spacing changes along the blade, from 10 to 14 teeth per inch. That helps it start smoothly and cut a range of thicknesses.
Which pack sizes are there?
Demolition Recips come in 3 and 25 packs. The HD 10/14T blades come in 5 and 50 packs. The pack size is shown in the product title.
