Made for Impact Drivers
ITM titanium-coated M2 HSS jobber drills on a 1/4" hex impact shank, impact rated, for drilling with an impact driver. Twelve sizes from 1/16" to 1/2".
Choosing impact-rated drill bits
These ITM jobber drills are made for impact drivers. The 1/4" hex impact shank drops into the quick-change chuck and is rated to take the driver's pulsing, so you can drill and drive with one tool. The bits are M2 high-speed steel with a TiN finish.
There are twelve sizes, from 1/16" through 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 7/16" up to 1/2". Each is a jobber length drill with a 1/4" Hex Impact shank.
Drilling tips
Drill in metal and wood with a steady, firm push and lower speed on larger sizes. Use cutting oil on steel. Impact drivers deliver torque in bursts, so start a hole gently and let the bit seat. For bigger jobs, see the holemaking range.
