Key Specifications:
- Clear any oil or lubricant from the extension and the core bit taper before use.
- Always insert the pilot drill into the drive extension first for smooth operation.
- Start drilling until the core bit reaches a depth of 3/8”.
- Use the ejector key to remove the pilot drill easily.
- Continue drilling until the hole is filled, approximately 3” deep.
- If needed, break the drilled material inside the core bit with a chisel.
- Repeat the process until the desired hole depth is achieved.

Attention: Avoid core bit drilling without a pilot drill bit to prevent excessive pressure on the taper shank system. This can lead to breakage, especially between the two slots on the extension. Remember, such breaks may not be covered under warranty.
