1/8" x 7/16" SM-42 Conical Carbide Burr, Double Cut, 1/8" Shank is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The 1/8" shank burrs are for detail work: die sinking, small radii, lettering, cleaning up inside a tapped hole or a tight internal corner where a 1/4" burr simply will not fit. They run in a pencil grinder or a die grinder with a 1/8" collet, and because the head is small they want high speed and almost no pressure — these snap if you lean on them. Double cut throughout, so they finish as well as they remove. This is the SM-42: a 1/8" conical head with a 7/16" length of cut on a 1/8" shank. Surface machining and narrow contour work.
