Choosing ITM tools

ITM is industrial drilling and cutting since 1987, and the range here shows the spread. The biggest groups are SDS drills and accessories, hole saws and bit tips. Then come magnetic nut setters, square drive sockets, reamers, ship augers, bellhanger and flex drills, spade bits, step drills and core drills.

There is also masonry, glass and tile drilling. Many items are tagged for Electricians and Shower Doors. Shanks include 1/4" hex impact, 1/4" hex, SDS-Plus and SDS-Max, so you can match the bit to the tool in your hand. Consumables such as SDS-Plus bits come in tubes of 25.

Drilling tips

Match the bit to the material and to the drill. SDS bits are for rotary hammers. Glass and tile bits are rotation only. Hole saws want a slow speed and a square drill, and masonry bits need steady pressure without forcing. Start with the hole saw range if you are cutting large openings.
