Walter TOPCUT sits between COOLCUT and the ceramic discs: zirconia alumina grain in a heat resistant bond, which removes more metal per disc than aluminum oxide and lasts considerably longer. It is the one we would put on stainless. Zirconia cuts cool and the bond is built to shed heat, so you are less likely to blue the workpiece or distort thin sheet — which matters because discolouration on stainless is a finish defect you then have to sand back out. This is the 7" 80 grit disc in zirconia alumina, for a 7/8" arbor. Priced per disc, sold by the box of 25.
